It appears to be in the war plans of Hamas to lure the IDF into a ground force invasion.

They would have figured on a certain number of prior civilian casualties as the IDF Air Force collapsed entire buildings, killing everyone inside.

This can go on for only so long until the IDF is forced to conduct ground force operations.

_________

If so, the IDF will take high casualty rates.

The IDF is not the Russian Armed Forces - Chechen Forces and Masters of Street Warfare close in work and who removed very well dug in Ukrainian - NATO Forces, the latter having spent several years prior to the SMO creating underground fortifications in Eastern Ukrainian cities, now gone, with cities rebuilt of underway.

_________

Like NATO - Ukrainian Forces, IDF Forces are overrated, not having taken on a peer competitor and having the benefit of air cover.

Not the case in this urban conflict, perhaps the reason for a delayed foray and the delivery of US bunker buster munitions.

Yet another reason stems from the appearance of US - UK naval battle groups, out of proportion to needs and so suggesting there was another plan here.

The Israeli Prime Minister did remark - "I will not go into detail of what will come next, but I will say that it is just the beginning".

They knew it was coming.

_________

Europe is awash with US-NATO-UK small armaments sold out of The Ukraine. Small includes shoulder launched missiles.

One may expect damaging or very damaging actions in European cities by pro-Palestinian or anti-Israeli factions, not necessarily the same thing.

There is a reason this campaign was called Al-Aqsa Flood, arising from events of October 4th and one that does not sit well with the entire World of Islam.

_________

Washington's unconditional support for Tel Aviv has proved disastrous for Washington and Tel Aviv.

The Decline of The West is written in the centres of Western Liberal Democracy, so called . . . https://les7eb.substack.com/

It was a really bad idea of Hama to provide the IDF with the perfect opportunity to respond.

Looking like they were set up.

After 16 years of being confined in the world's largest concentration camp, with electricity 3 hours a day and having to bathe in salt water because the Israelis limit that supply as well, it's really no surprise to see armed Gazans attempt a prison break.

How is ANY change a bad idea for them? Don't you get it? They're desperate. They don't give a damn anymore. Just like the Jews in the Warsaw Ghetto in 1943.

I thought it was more than that.

I wasn't suggesting that any change is a bad idea however it would be a good change for the ''WEST'' to simply stop supporting the human rights defying fascist Israeli apartheid regime which is part and package of empire.

It's the duty of the oppressed to resist their oppressors - to me It's looking like they were setup to take the blame for a false claim about the babies in order to justify the response by the IDF.

The claim about the babies was debunked early on - https://thegrayzone.com/2023/10/11/beheaded-israeli-babies-settler-wipe-out-palestinian/

So now they're being blamed for destroying the hospital - which is unbelievable.

The Gaza strip is considered prime real estate by the settlers and just like a reoccurring scenario found all over the world the indigenous people are an obstacle to developing it.

Then there's that massive oil and natural gasfield which rightfully belongs to the Palestinians.

On a side note - Western politici are lacking the testicular fortitude to stand up to their masters who represent empire as doing so is likely to provoke a negative effect on their next paychecks and long term career prospects - How the proverbial West became US/UK vassal states relates back to the 1930's and second world war where the territories liberated from the Nazi's by the ''allied'' all became submissive and obedient vassal states - not much attention is dedicated to researching who actually financed the Nazi's in the first place.
