I know, and I love you guys. Many years ago the Vets Against War marched in Portland’s Rose parade and got a standing ovation. I doubt it would happen today, such is the creeping weenie-azation of the Liberal middle class.
They were one of the over 200 organisations at the March 18th protest in DC, but I really don't feel like that produced any movement and watching the stream from the actual day it wasn't very encouraging. There are a ton of blood thirsty democrats. I am sure plenty republicans are too. It is a hard road we have especially since they manage to distract the people so easily they go with whatever is new and current and move on.
Yes. The propaganda methods are really hard to see through tho it’s getting better all the time. Caitlin is certainly a force to be reckoned with when it comes to clarity of thought, and Consortium News is very strong on real info. Substack grows daily. And the young are getting older all the time. I see hope on the horizon and am willing to do a rear guard last stand as the new rebels get ready to take on the corrupt US empire in all its grotesque manifestations. Plus I get to read you. Caitlin is a sane voice in the darkness for certain. I am surprised every day that they still allow her to make a tweet on Twitter! I do not have any social media accounts as I detest them and would certainly get banned in short order! Glad you are here as each of us is another wrench in the works of tumbling corruption by whatever means you and I are capable of!
Exactly. I feel privileged to be able to rely on her and the group of sane people she gives space to. I don't feel so alone, I don’t feel crazy with rage, I don’t feel overwhelmed by the mediocrity of my culture. It’s liberating and that’s ALWAYS good. By whatever means.
