If they blow up the energy infrastructure of the Middle East, they'll be fighting their following wars with bronze spears. The Empire is driving itself into a dead end, and they have no brakes.

The real question is, are they going to take the Rest of the World with them? We could be looking at a transition from, "Now look what you've gone and made me do, bitch," to, "If I can't have her, no-one will!"

The gas production of Israel should be destroyed. We have a precedent, the US destroyed the Nordstrom pipelines.

That'll cut Israel's income stream and cheap energy source.

Maybe the Houtis should be given the necessary equipment....

While the majority of the world's population would probably agree that this would be fair karma, unfortunately it wouldn't end there, would it? The Empire could get away with blowing up Nordstream because Germany is a vassal who would not respond in kind. But if Iran took out one of Israel's pipelines, then Israel would take two of Iran's, and before you knew it, all the pipelines, all the wells, all the refineries would be burning, the Gulf and the Suez would be shut down. Boom, half the world's energy supply out for the count.

Now, this would certainly take down the Empire, yes. But, even if we disregard nukes here, you're also talking about a lot of other things going down, like say half the world's food supply.

The oligarchs can certainly afford food at ten times the price, and you might be able to afford food at ten times the price, but the poorest half of the world's population cannot. The least deserving would be the worst punished, as usual.

There is a difference between tactics and strategy.

Karma is a comforting myth, The Hindus had to invent reincarnation because there is no justice in this world.

It would depend on US support for an all out attack on Iran. However, if the Houtis were used as a proxy, then the US could hardly attack Iran.

Sure they could if they wanted to.

Iraq had jack-all to do with 9/11, but that didn't stop the United States and its loyal catamites.

They are all in on everything the Terrorist State of Israel does! The Zionist Nazi politicians from the US are all the same as the creatures in The Terrorist State of Israel. They already gave the go ahead and attack Iran to those Zionist Nazis!

This assumes that anyone can do so and is willing to deal with the consequences.

The Axis of Resistance is weak and indecisive. Its enemies are neither.

as you know it is extremely difficult to find out who blew up a pipeline. :-) all it takes is a small yacht, 5 divers and some easy to find explosives on the black market. anyone could've done it.

Funny how that works when nobody wants to ask questions that they know that they won't like the answers to.

as in the us, we are few and scattered, and subjected to 'do you condemn hamas/putin (stalin/hitler)?'-style bullying into a 'pledge of allegiance to the oligarchy'. larger groupings or organisations (mostly to the conservative right) are hunted down with 'the six ways to sunday' methods.

most media is absolute oligarchial crap. one checks the headlines to find out what is important to lie about or especially what must be omitted. i'm personally on a diet of some telegram-channels (rt, sputnik, tass, some others, ...), grayzone, mint-press, consortium news, ...

I don’t think they are either weak or indecisive. They just aren’t psychopathic killers that want millions of citizens in the Middle East to die. We know Israel will bomb the most heavily populated areas, hospitals, schools, etc. These countries don’t want war, but they are given no choice, because it’s obvious they are next on the list. It’s a really shitty position that Iran, and Lebanon are in, because they know entering into war with Israel is also entering into war with the US and millions of their citizens may be killed, along with their infrastructure. When the psychopaths attack Iran in the next few days, we will see what the truth is….

It certainly seems so. Do they feel that they are entitled to that as well?

It seems part of the warped psychology of a sociopath to feel entitled to whatever they can get away with.

We've all been confronted in our personal lives by some arsehole presenting us with a bad-or-worse option: "Either let me get my way or everybody loses." It's just scary to see it happening on a planetary scale.
