Maybe I am wrong or my statement too exagerated but I don't think there was ever 1 good thing coming out of the Vatican. It's a multi million dollar/euro sect that has caused so much pain, misery and horror worldwide over the centuries, lavishing itself in power and money. Even in WW2 it took the wrong stance (being neutral is like turning a blind eye; Jezus wasn't neutral in his judgement and actions, as I remember from my lessons in a catholic school). No, I would rather believe in a resurrection of Jezus himself than in a Vatican pope doing the right thing. But hey, maybe Francis will surprise me.

I don't think you are wrong about the Vatican, but I think the Pope going to Gaza would create quite a stir among many and it might help, who knows?
It sure would, I have no doubt about that.
But again, I see Jesus rising sooner than the Pope would make this gesture of mercy, without political or financial ulterior motives
