Where we are taught to hate there will be hate and the wars that follow. I live in a multicultural community where everybody gets along fine. In my last job there were people from 27 countries of every race and color, everybody got along well . The employer was diligent in maintaining a positive work place and trouble makers got the boot. I can easily see that political provocateurs could destroy this equilibrium but fortunately we have a level of prosperity that everybody wants to sustain and we have a civil government provincially that does not promote the hate and bigotry our federal government does.
Governments like Israel and the USA promote hatred and bigotry in order to justify their violent war agendas. After a half century of imperial wars the populations of the West are well indoctrinated to hating others. Hate and violence have been internalized into our cultures and politicians are chiefly responsible, as is the media.
The fact that this genocide is happening so flagrantly takes the measure of just how far the political cultures of these two countries has fallen . It also takes the measure how cowardly the NATO vassal states are as they silently condone this atrocity. Canada has been a blind supporter of Israel. Now Canadians are waking up to the Palestinian reality and our totally incompetent government is de- legitimized even further.
We are seeing now what happens when democracy is left to collapse and fascism prevails .
The USA and Israel are turning themselves into global pariah states. We are frozen in time and place until such time as world peace and civility are restored. Progressive and positive change can only take place where there is equilibrium and civility . If there is ever time we cannot afford war it is now. If there is ever a time when we must insist on peace it is now.

Samuel Huntington was right: There is now a great "clash of civilizations". But it's becoming very clear that the one that matters, the one that now (in the anachronistic phrasing) "tries men's souls", is not the West vs Islam -- it's the West vs Neocons-Zionism, in which the latter has permanently martial mindset, and is only too happy to flush the West's Enlightenment down the toilet while singing its praises. Sometimes unwittingly, too often disingenuously.
Most of the rest of us have only begun to wake up. But the threatening "hot" version of American Civil War II, going beyond the now 22-year-long hybrid war of TPTB against Americans, is not going to divide red-blue the way the Neocons-Zionists think it will. It will be a lot more lopsided, and not in their favor. For example, the "inexplicably" growing number of MAGA POCs, as well as Matt Gaetz, MTG, and other "extreme" Republicans teaming with AOC and The Squad to release Julian Assange, are just two of a number of examples of these expanding "crossovers", disparaged in MSM as "nutcases thinking alike".
