Netanyahu, as reported by Haaretz in March 2019, said that the existence and success of Hamas in Gaza made the foudation of a Palestinian state far less likely; which is why they tolerated it.
Hamas has been funded by Israel for decades, they have made public statements about it. ISIS in Syria is also a CIA funded terror group and joined in attacking Israel from Syria.
There’s a couple of points you make that we could have a discussion about. Netanyahu making funding of unimaginable amounts of money available to Hamas, and not just from Qatar, being one. That’s a large can of worms. But tell me, how did one the most protected borders on the planet, built to detect a fox being nearby, fail so spectacularly, despite advanced warnings from Egypt about an attack being imminent. And even then, why did the IDF not respond for hours. Several hours! Are you not in the least suspicious about that story? Cos if you can swallow that, you could swallow a brick!
