Who cares? We’re not talking about reproductive rights; birthrates, LGBTQ whatever rights. You’re attempting to make political/social/ moral distinctions in the face of an ongoing genocide and a tragedy of unacceptable proportions.
Would I like life in the Gaza Strip among the Palestinians? Probably not. Do I agree with Islam? Most assuredly not. Do I lay awake at night worrying about whether Palestinian women have access to birth control? No. I don’t. I don’t care.
What I care about is that the Israelis are doing their best to completely wipe out and destroy an entire people; that they have been engaged in this crime against humanity for almost 5 months, but really ever since 1948. What I am concerned about is that a great many innocent people are being systematically murdered by a weaponized fascist state with the complicity of my government and other corrupt, evil governments and no one and nothing seems to be able to stop it.
Israel is not a democracy. It hasn’t been for a long time. It is a fascist state bent on the destruction and elimination of its neighbors, and there will never be peace in the Middle East until it is stopped. It is the aggressor, it is the criminal, and it is motivated by a toxic ideology that is the product of one man’s 19th Century fever dream. And where Zionism is lacking in race hatred, you can always refer to the Old Testament.
