As to the genocide fans you get email from, my bet is that, to a person, he/she has never been in combat, never see other humans thrashing in death agony, and, likely, never even been in a fist fight. In contrast, it's a rare combat vet that's enthusiastic about war.
Well spoken. All these people, instead of playing these horrific war games like Call of Duty to numb down their moral senses, should just for a change play „This War of Mine“ to see the other side of the conflict, the civilian casualties, the trauma and horrors of war and then understand why being a pacifist is better than war mongering from their bedrooms.
And yet on their deathbed how they will all beg for forgiveness of all their sins! Its the exact same when someone goes on a killing spree and the runs from being captured! That's my all time favorite - killing someone in cold blood and then you run away!
Good one. One thing the Internet revels in is lack of moral maturity. That is, a conscience and sense of empathy that hasn't matured beyond that typical of 5th grade boys. So you can't tell if a mean-spirited email if from a 5th grade boy or an adult with the maturity of a 5th grader.
