I think you're right..I personally believe a critical analysis of Putin and Russia starts with Aleksander Dugin (aka "Putin's brain" in the media). I'm seeing a trend lately of Dugin engaging directly with American Orthodox Christian youtube channels, and on the other side there is a trend of Slavoj Zizek engaging more with disillusioned left channels, and they are sparring with each other in oblique ways over the future of Eurasia and America, within their own Overton window of sorts. I recognize more and more lately that there's an enormous battle for the human mind taking place all over the world, with the American Imperial Narrative becoming more desperate to prioritize spectacles of unrest and violence over raising consciousness.
