I've thought of Palestine as the litmus test for whether an organization or person actually cared about human rights or was just making a career of pretending to care. It seemed that Chomsky had put his own career and reputation on the firing line by his positions for Palestine. I thought I remembered him being tarred with the 'self-hating Jew' brush.
If I were to turn against everyone who's been taken in by the "manufactured contempt" of the vaccine- and WWIII-hesitant, there would be few left. These are hard times to think clearly and we need all the friends we can get.
