Positions are not "religion", and shame and guilt are not the worst features/outcomes of life on Earth. We in general have caused global warming: it isn't "natural but the result of our greed, carelessness and lack of responsibility. Who/what is responsible for war? Is it just a natural phenomenon and uncontrollable? Your argument is not cogent. There are real agents of wrong-doing, and they need to be identified and condemned.
I don't understand your point: science is not counter to politics, by any means. Science, the real thing, can be a productive, positive component of politics. But if you mean that human concerns are subjugated to science, and that is wrong - I'm with you there.

My argument is that you intermix science with your political beliefs which makes it religion not science.
