I think the issue was with the words "we are in an existential climate crisis". We are not, there is no evidence that we are. It is rhetoric like this that encourages people to accept being impoverished by globalist technocratic psycholaths. Sure, many humans are dirty materialist bastards and could do with cleaning up their act. But that is not the point that such rhetoric implies.

The globalist myth wants us to think we're being impoverished but really it's the global elite who don't want to be impoverished. They don't want us insisting that they stop flying around in jets and into space; the 1% are responsible for 25% of emissions so if we just stopped them doing it we'd be well on our way. They also don't want to be impoverished by regulation nor by our ceasing to buy the products that made them rich.

"We" expands and contracts to fit whatever needs to be packaged.

Spiritualism is just another slave ideology generated by Greek culture. If we were all more materialistic (in the philosophical sense) there would be less drama and bullshit shoved in our faces because there would be no reason to care about others' need for drama.

I think that there is evidence of an emergency, especially for the global south (the global majority) who have contributed least and who will be most affected by changes in agriculture and may wish to migrate north to the luckier latitudes - good luck with that.

I think poor land management, weather modification and DEW probably explains the more extreme situations. Not to mention the increased populations to witness extremes and the mass media making people aware of stuff that's alwayd happened.
