I believe loving someone doesn’t mean being ‘nice’ to them, just like loving your children doesn’t entail being subservient to them. Love your enemy enough to care to disagree, scold, reprimand, disagree and scorn when warranted.
What about Netanyahu, or Gallant who perceive the Palestinians as animals, and trust me it's not because of the attack by Hamas. I really don't know enough about Judaism to comment. I know people who are Jewish who have said some horrible things about Muslims, and their hate is sickening. I've heard non Jews say the same. However I don't believe that most people harbor that kind of hate. America had her many Middle Eastern wars, one war after another, one lie after another. We may not have targeted the general population, but we killed, and displaced millions just living their life. We had, and have a neocon agenda pushing those wars, and pushing the war in Ukraine, that has killed hundreds of thousands. Now you have Biden feeding weapons to Israel to Implement a genocide. What is top on his list of horrors as he runs for a second term, Trump, and his crowd on Jan 6 which made us almost lose America as his people stormed the Capital. Funny I saw the capital police let hundreds, and hundreds in through the front door. Not to mention they came with no weapons to take over the reins of our government, and the only one killed was one of Trump's "militia", a young woman, shot for no reason. Jon Carver it seems like most who head governments are crazy.
