I believe loving someone doesn’t mean being ‘nice’ to them, just like loving your children doesn’t entail being subservient to them. Love your enemy enough to care to disagree, scold, reprimand, disagree and scorn when warranted.
What about Netanyahu, or Gallant who perceive the Palestinians as animals, and trust me it's not because of the attack by Hamas. That's how the Palestinians have always been perceived by such people which gives them permission to marginalize them and treat them as disposable.
