It’s comfortable living in a Western ‘democracy’; affluent, advanced economy, where one of the major issues confronting (young) people is, where will we go for a drink tonight, or what movie to watch, do these jeans fit, where’s a good vegan cafe……questions, questions, questions, flooding into the mind of the concerned young person today….. Not, ‘will I get through the day without being killed, or raped?’
