I came across an article on anti-war.com the day after the assault that people who were surveiling the border reported on numerous occasions that suspicious behavior was going on, but were repeatedly dismissed or ignored, Hamas obviously took hostages, but the killing of babies was false, raping women was false, and Israeli soldiers were told to fire into houses, their target Hamas, but no doubt innocents were also there, hiding out, or hostages also killed along with their abductors, which upped the death toll. I felt this carnage was implemented by Israel since this scenario just makes the most sense, but everyone is simply ignoring this possibility and with someone like Netanyahu in charge why wouldn't most see this as the reality of what happened. It makes the most sense. I even felt their reaction from the beginning was they were set on a genocide and felt no qualms about it. The very fact they introduced women, and babies into the picture made me suspicious. I always felt Netanyahu was responsible for the death of Rabin, with his hateful rhetoric, and being hellbent on preventing a two state solution. Rabin's wife blamed him as well. He's up on corruption charges, but I've heard no one until now hold him accountable, and I'm sure he got plenty of help, well, if this is not exactly what Caitlin meant close enough.
I hate him, and think he's a fanatical nut job, If Israel doesn't put a stop to it's carnage in Gaza I think we'll wind up in WWIII. Unfortunately in the the US the neocons are in charge and very much a part of the democratic party, like Blinken, and Nuland, and I doubt that this will be handled well. Look at what they did to Ukraine. They could have stopped the war a month after it began. Just don't join NATO the Russians said, and we didn't let them listen and 400 thousand or more dead and a country destroyed.
