The talking heads are quickly losing their primacy due to Russia’s victory and what I think will be Hamas’s victory. There’s a new wind blowing and it’s going to knock out the West’s ability to dictate terms.
Agreed. I don’t think anybody is REALLY on the side of the Palestinians. They are too obstreperous and are too Shia and are the poor cousins of the Sunni Arab oil rich and polite world. It’s going to be Hamas that brings this off. They are the elected representatives of Gaza and what they can win they will have. They do have support from Iran and Yemen so that’s good but it’s not going to be up to people who just want to look good and not get drawn into a fight with the bloody minded Nutty and Joe.
