You are probably just a month ahead of my thinking on this subject. Yes he is a 'product of the US/Western way of thinking' and I do keep on forgetting that fact as well.
I am just an incurable optimist with lots of friends in those United States. That is an influence on one's thinking. They are always there through emails and the like.
I've said it before and I'll say it again for the last time. The world has never seen the reaction of the American people to a serious threat. Do they ignore the threat to their lives, continue on as before with an optimistic outlook knowing (thinking) they are safe from harm .....or will they become panic stricken and 'head for the hills' from a city like New York if threatened by a nuclear capable submarine.
They have never been challenged in this way. Other than Pearl Harbour, a long way away from a civilian population of any size, they have never been challenged at all. Yes, we did see some level of concern in the Cuban Missile crisis which was managed well by JFK and ceased to remain a problem. We therefore do not know the influence they would have on an Israeli controlled government in Washington.

Yes, I know. I have suggested this before. But it may have the desired result with the expulsion of criminal Zionists, disloyal fellow travellers, corrupted politicians and blackmailed White House residents from the USA allowing the same USA to start all over again with some down-to-earth Amendments in their beloved but outdated Constitution. (Freedom of speech; one person, one vote; no corrupt funding of politicians) ......and on it goes. (far too many to mention)
Finally to top it off.....the big finger to Israel's worldwide antiSemitism campaign and a black mark against those weak Western governments who have taken action in their support of this, the latest Israeli planned Zionist circus event (marketing campaign,) a.k.a. yet another distraction to genocide and ethnic cleansing on a grand scale. Amen to that! I couldn't agree more with you on that. AFAIK, the American mainland (contiguous 48 states) has never been BOMBED or ATTACKED by an 'external' military threat. I don't think the U.S. is prepared (due to its hubris) for an attack from external sources (I don't see Mexico or Canada attacking the U.S.).
If anything, I believe the U.S. Empire is most likely to be destroyed by INTERNAL forces (as I find that scenario more plausible than anything else).
