Hello dear, I’m just tired. This term is exactly what they want us to bring up and keep talking about. From day one, it’s been a fake term. But surprisingly, even big pro-Palestinian profiles keep repeating it.
As Bassem Youssef said, it’s a meaningless term on every level. I’ll add that we should stop using it altogether and focus instead on the crimes in Gaza—not waste time repeating it over and over.
Do a quick search in Caitlin’s articles and count how many times this term was used. Even after 22 months, it’s still the same story. It’s exhausting.
The term "antisemitism" is being used recently and even not so recently to describe someone who does not support the colonialist, genocidal State of Israel. I don't quite understand, Laith, why you are so sick of everyone repeating this "BS". I personally do NOT think people should be quiet about it because it is just another way to allow Israel to get away with its crap. At the same time, I don't think anyone should be descriminated against because of their religion. I do not subscribe to any religion. As far as religion goes, I don't like any of them. Judaism, Christianity, Islam, Buddhism or whatever else people choose to follow. But as long as people are not committing genocide or finding some other way to attack people in the name of their religion,I don't feel it is my responsibility to tell anyone what to believe even if I think what they believe is nutty.
