If I was in my eighties I don't think I'd be spending my final moments on this earth actively following people who write things on the internet and bitching at them for writing things on the internet.
The only way to make revolution happen is to work toward snapping the public out of the propaganda-induced trance which manipulates them into believing revolution is not necessary. This can be done here and now, with the resources we have right in front of us. I say this over and over and over again, in as many ways as I can think of, but people have trouble hearing me because it's not the sort of answer they've been conditioned to listen for.
There are "next steps" out there that can be considered and scrutinized. Steve Grumbine (Real Progressives and Real Progress in Action) has long proposed developing parallel institutions. The Party for Socialism and Liberation developed a visionary next step book, Socialist Reconstruction, A Better Future for the United States.
Most importantly, organize locally and help one another. Read. Share your thoughts and ideas.
Caitlin, I don't come here for solutions, I come here to try to keep sane. I was surrounded by Zios yesterday at our city council meeting, and we all know how delusional they are. They're also all over YouTube, and my posts lambasting Israel on Facebook get literally no response, even though my feed is overwhelmingly so-called leftists. I demonstrate and do banner drops, and if anyone has any other ideas I'll do those as well, but for now that's what I have, and I come here to be among sane people who call a genocide a genocide. Thank you for your work and for helping me keep going without succumbing to dismay and paralysis.

If I really cared about all the injustice. I wouldn't waste my time pissing and moaning about it. I would promote a solution. Talk is cheap. Action speaks louder than words.
"A decentralized guerrilla psywar against the propaganda machine is the best solution to this problem."
Well, it's not the least viable idea I have seen. But that was written four and a half years ago...how's it going? Perhaps as the vice continues to close on the proles, they will realize that the destruction of the Deep State is the only true solution.
It's going very well thanks. Gen Z has taken it to new levels that are causing such a panic among narrative managers that they're trying to censor entire social media platforms that young people use, and the empire is losing control of the narrative. "Destroy the deep state" is not a plan. You have no plan. You have no proposals. You just like to bitch.
So, get out there and start acting! Are you involved with a group/cell/party that is actively discussing their options and planning on their steps toward Revolution? If not, you're just wasting your time, Old Fart. Shuffle on back to the nursing home cafeteria and have another bowl of ice cream. (See how insulting people doesn't really draw them to the cause you supposedly want them to support?) Follow that old saying: "Shit or get off of the pot." Or in your case, turn off the computer and stop reading intelligent commentary online.

As I approach my eighties, it's that or walk the dog. ;-)
Well, I suppose there's a difference between "bitching about it" and "asking for a solution". Which may sound like the same thing.
This Norman Finkelstein interview is extremely distressing.
I posted it on this thread already but want to make sure you see it.

Realist is right about "talk being cheap" but he sounds more like the old, "Get off my lawn" codger.
OTOH, I don't have a clue about what to do. Saying you want a revolution is a long, long, long way from making it happen.

Not saying you're wrong, in fact, I totally agree, "wake up you fools".
But toward what end?
What is the goal of the revolution other than "not this"?
Perhaps they can't hear because they are overwhelmed with asking "then what?"
Maybe it's just me that needs the "next step".
I confess.
I'm lost.

"Caitlin, I don't come here for solutions,..."
Like all the rest, you come here to virtue signal.

I promote solutions constantly. We've been over this.

Name a couple...I mean serious solutions. No, you have been over this, not us.
