Americans are fed a stream of propaganda daily while their minds are diverted to Hollywood multi-million dollar divorces and the sex lives of their not-so-honorable Congressmen. The capacity for critical thinking has been hijacked by the Media and their corporate masters. Even a hard-hitting program like 60 minutes has degenerated into a milk-toast broadcast dwelling on trivial issues. Our presidential debates are laughably empty of content and full of sophomoric bravado. How many more "lesser of two evils" periods can the nation survive??
Stop watching television. I got rid of mine 11 years ago. I get all my news from independent media from all over the world. We must be internationalists or die.
