I follow combat reports from Ukraine pretty closely and I haven't seen these brave warriors mentioned anywhere since. Strange, since Ukraine is on its seventh mobilization, press ganging men as old as 70, and needs all the warm live bodies that it can get.

I bring it up because it was a pretty clear case of empty virtue signaling, intended to keep western liberals on-side.
