I don't know about China, but in the U.S. there is no objectively valid definition of "White", as in "White person"; there are, therefore, no "White persons" who could be discriminated against as such by the police, the courts, the legislatures, and so forth. Any such categorization could be legally challenged.
How about Asian? Do you know an Asian when you see one? Is there an "objectively valid" definition of Asian somewhere you can point to.
If you see a picture of the US swim team and someone asks you whether it is too white, are you just completely confused? Do you look at the 100 percent white team and, in your mind, it's just an undefined chaos of Samoans and Pygmies and Eskimos and Haitians? If everyone promoted into a management position in your company is white, however incompetent, while competent non-whites are left at a lower pay grade and someone asks you whether there is discrimination in favor of whites at your company, would you just get a perplexed look on your face and say, gosh, I can't tell you. I have no objectively valid definition of white at my disposal with which to make that determination. If a white police officer shoots an unarmed black man and your friends call you up to see whether you want to join them in a riot, are you going to say, well, I would, but there is no "white" police officer to riot against that would stand up in court.
