There was a time when the CBC was a big part of my life, now they are the Muppets complementing our politicians who the are puppets and the show goes on.

Well if we're at church confession right now ... I use to watch the Rachel Maddow show. OK I said it. Forgive me Father, for I have sinned.

Ditto. I can’t believe that she has turned into an intelligent agency asset. Same with Keith Olbermann who has become a hysterical shill.

My first impressions of both were very positive... another demoralizing lesson learned. Couldn't despise them more now.

I used to watch and enoyed CNN commentators until around 2105...

Now I don't take anything from CNN, CBC, or any other mainstream news source, as true.

As I understand it she's sexually attractive to both sexes. So many watch without listening.

Well oddly - she wasn't like the blond bombshells they often had on display at FOX news. She seemed more down-to-earth, like your friendly sister giving you the scoop on what was actually going on. It fooled me at the time.

The CBC has become so Americanized that you can't watch it without getting sick!

Robert Billyard: I agree. I can hardly stand the sounds of some of the voices now. But I listen every day or two. I think it is important to know what people who trust mainstream media are hearing.

Yes, I can remember when both sides of a story were given and the news was credible. I was more vulnerable to propaganda then mind you.

Isn't western media, with a few small groups, all the same, Robert?

As I see it there is the corporatist mainstream media fully loaded with lies and propaganda. Then there is the alternate independent media which speaks truth to power eg Information Clearing House, The Grey Zone, The Breach, Strategic Culture Foundation. Consortium News , Yves Engler , Noam Chomsky, Redacted and Unz Review and many, many more . There are numerous excellent blogs on Substack including Seymour Hersh, Piers Robinson, Matthew Ehret, Cynthia Chung, Arron Mate, and Ben Norton.

Canada has very few good independents, the USA has many more some of the best are international, Pepe Escobar, Alistair Crooke, and the Duran.

It is very important to support independent media financially as I think it is going to eventually replace the crippled MSM.

The MSM in Canada receives government subsidies and is in turn a government apologist.

It is very important these days to multi-source our news and opinion and cross reference. Fortress North America is very much a propaganda ghetto. Having an objective world view is now more critical than ever .

All so true, Robert, an excellent post, thorough as regards non MSM. But with all these great sources what ever changes? Therein lies the problem.

Wonder who this apparently Canadian reporter is, from days past, doing the Israel's "Canada park" story here, in 2 parts:

ya know, russian_bot, if you had not spent so much time insulting me and trying to let me know how stupid I am, I would have watched these two videos sooner. They are very interesting and also very horrible. I would thank you, but I am not really sure about your motivation.

You know, Susan T, if you can point out exactly where I did what you accuse me of then I might accept your grievance.

Please keep in mind - your perception of something does not necessarily mean the intent of the other party. One has to be humble enough to recognize that. Please keep that in mind before you go on gathering evidence.

Barry Zwicker worked with them. He's pretty good. He did a timeline and some work exposing the "Inside Job" aspects of "9/11". He also exposed "Nayeera" and the Kuwaiti Incubators hoax, that helped push the US into Gulf War 1.
