I think people are losing sight of the greater picture - Israel's reputation is damaged forever! Trying to throw Netanyahu under the bus will not work although he will be spending the rest of his life in prison if they don't assassinate him first - or I could see him committing suicide like Hitler as he knows the walls are closing in - the IDF was responsible for the majority of deaths on 10-07 and when the truth becomes to unbearable for anyone to deny - Israel's history and fate will be sealed.
Witnesses are coming forward to testify it was the IDF who slaughtered them on 10-07 and not Hamas. This is why I believe nearly a quarter of a million have relocated to Europe. They know what happened!
Listen to the Ron Unz interview - he basically says what so many of us had already learned. He believes the number of people Hamas killed may be as low as 100 and I agree. Listen to how he derives that figure. It's not something he simply picks out of thin air. The order was to kidnap not kill!

All this said I personally don't foresee Israel (as we have known it) will exist in the future - so talk of two state I believe is moot. I personally believe Russia is going to be the worlds super power and will never allow and or perhaps even control the Middle East and all it's resources.
It's highly doubtful anyone will have an ounce of respect or sympathy for Israel ever again (they have lost all their allies) but especially the Israel's themselves. They tore a page out of the Holocaust - so forget sympathy for that as well. If the US continues to stand with Israel they will simply sink with them but you know with the upcoming election all of that will change. He's been traveling to the Middle East and visa versa. I read or watched an interview where they said the greatest fear of the US is that Russia is going to resolve all of this. That's all I know . . . .
I don't my friend, not only has Israel now completely ostracized itself amongst the Arab States but so has the USA - whereas Russia appears to be the polar opposite and making extreme headway.
One can only to assume all of this fighting boils down to the natural gas reserves - ownership routes, disbursement., etc. but at this point, if I were a betting man - I would say Russia by far has the upper hand - hence moving in. Part of me wonders if this is why we facilitated the weapons and refused the cease fire to expedite Israel's decline - I don't foresee Israel ever coming back from this and it's only a matter of time before Israel ceases to exist as we knew it! I believe Russia with it's enormous wealth versus the bankrupt Europe and USA will take over but especially given their allies - COMBINED the US doesn't stand a chance IF this war were to escalate. It would be mass suicide. Turkey has amassed 2 million soldiers and an impressive arsenal and Russia has since expanded it's to 2.2 million with an arsenal that dwarfs everyone's else's.
I personally foresee this as all ending with Russia and the Middle East being the eventual victors and saying buh-bye to the good ole USA which was in it's final throws already. Israel can threaten with their nukes and I put noting past Netanyahu - but again Russia is superior.
