As far as I'm concerned, real lefties agree with Anderson on most or all of what she says--especially what she's said about Assange--and don't immediately react to the mention of her name with "Oh, did you know that this bitch loves Putin? Just like Jill Stein and Susan Sarandon and all of those people? Nobody listen to this Putin-lover!"

I'm guilty of the same crime, I guess. Because I remember when Democrats used to say the exact opposite of the crap they're saying today. For example, that Russia wasn't worth worrying about, or that when Bush and people in his administration said "We have to fight the terrorists over there so we don't fight them over here," the Democrats at that time criticized them for it.
I never imagined that years later, Democrats would be the ones insisting that we had to take action against Russia. I never imagined that a Democrat would unironically repeat "We have to fight them over there so we don't fight them over here." (Adam Schiff.)
As somebody who supported Democrats back when they had a message that made sense to me, I'm naturally going to stop being loyal to them if they change their whole message and start talking like I used to remember Republicans talking. I.e., a neoconservative message advocating endless war.
And if the Republicans of today start talking the way Democrats used to talk, then I'll like them better than I do Democrats. Or, at a minimum, I'll dislike Republicans less than I used to. Right now I like Rand Paul more than I like most Democrats who are in the Senate with him, because he's actually standing in the way of escalation when not even Bernie Sanders is willing to do so.
No criticism for Zelenskyy or Biden, or Killary, or Pelosi, or Saint Obama, or Billy G though?
