The current direct action campaigns of Palestine Action, Just Stop Oil, amongst others in the UK, have led the political classes to enact draconian legislation that effectively shuts down the right to protest. Over 100 Palestine Action actioniare either imprison or on police bail awaiting trial and facing prison sentences for their efforts in closing down arms factories. The repulsive Home Secretary, Cruella Braverman has vowed to destroy Just Stop Oil. after their interruptions of major sporting events over the summer.
